Hospital Visit Evangelism!

We went to the hospital to visit our aunt, Sister Gangamma. She had suffered a heart stroke and the doctors had placed a stent to help her. While we were there, we did not just talk about her health; we opened the Bible to find strength in God’s promises.

As we studied the Word and talked about God’s goodness, something amazing happened. The people around us were listening. They saw the peace we had, and they felt the presence of the Lord.

Where people sought out for prayer, the other families in the hospital began to approach us to come and pray for our loved ones too.

We realized then that God had sent us there for more than just our aunt. He used us to be salt and light Matthew 5:13-14 in a place of sadness. We went from bed to bed, praying for the sick and asking the Lord to bring healing and comfort to every family we met.
